my mom's car got stolen.

my mom's car got stolen yesterday. i noticed the past couple of months that she hadn't been locking her doors. i warned her to lock them, but she said that her key doesn't work too well and that no one would want to steal an old mercedes. she parked it somewhere near oak grove high school in san josé's blossom valley yesterday. she checked on one house for her real estate business and then decided to walk to another one. when she returned her black 1995 mercedes c280 was gone. to make matters worse, she had my sister's housekey in there, labelled with her address. my mom also had her garage door opener in there. i think my sister and her husband had the locks changed last night. however, my mom and my sister's family are both going to socal this weekend. my sister's family is staying there for the next week. my mom's coming back on sunday. i worry about the safety of their houses and belongings while they're gone and their own safety when they return.
